Duc’s first encounter with technology came in 7th grade, when his school was equipped with its very first set of computers. That early exposure, along with the opportunity to participate in a student informatics competition, became the spark that ignited his lifelong passion for information technology.
This passion continued to grow throughout his university years, where he actively participated in student-level IT competitions. These experiences expanded his knowledge and allowed him to explore the diverse and ever-evolving nature of the tech industry. Although he graduated with a degree in Software Engineering, Duc eventually realized that software development wasn’t the right fit for him.
The turning point came when he was hired as an on-call IT technician at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Hotel Resort and Spas, a luxury resort known for its world-class standards. There, he had the privilege of being mentored by experienced IT Managers who not only shared their technical expertise but also helped shape his professional mindset and work ethic.
Working at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Duc developed the ability to perform under pressure in an environment that demanded excellence in every aspect of IT service delivery. He was directly involved in maintaining stable and secure systems, and regularly participated in internal audits to ensure the resort’s IT operations met the strict corporate standards for quality and reliability.
